Enjoy your favorite beverage and leave with a hand-painted masterpiece! Mingle with friends, get inspired by a local artist, and discover your creative side. $49 ticket price covers your first drink, all materials, and instruction from one of our FMK5X5 Resident Artists!
6PM - 7PM: Unwine'd. Relax and have a drink with the artist to get your creative juices flowing.
7PM - 9PM: Top off your glass and take a seat at the table. Susan will lead you step-by-step through your own artistic process to create a beautiful work of art, inspired by your favorite musician, to take home.
$49 per person. Price includes the cost of painting supplies, instructions and your first drink. Additional food and beverages available for purchase. Tickets must be purchased prior to the class using the form below.

ABOUT SUSAN CHASTEEN
Susan M. Chasteen is an artist who does not define herself by any style or genre. She is an artist who experiments with a variety of styles, mediums, and possibilities. Susan is currently working on a series of large, acrylic, rock-star portraits, which focus on the music that has influenced her life as an artist, former musician, and music lover. Her inspiration for portrait painting is inspired by the works of Chuck Close, Lucian Freud, and William Kentridge. Susan has received an M.A. in Educational Leadership, an M.A. in Art, and a B.A. in Art Education, in addition to instructing high school art for 22 years. Susan is now focusing solely on her career as a professional artist. She plans to combine her passion for teaching into her career as a professional artist.
ABOUT JENNY VYAS
Jenny Vyas is an contemporary artist from the Chicagoland area. She is highly influenced by beauty in complex human emotions and attempts to reveal them through multiple nuances in expressions in her work. Her interest in human frailty shows in her monochromatic paintings where she creates abstracts of human silhouettes and fluctuating forms in half-light; all drawn from reality, personal experiences and memories through a process of simplification. Her artistic influences stream from music, poetry, books, artists like Rothko, Marina Abramović, JR, Andy Worhol, Jackson Pollock, Saitō Yoshishige, Maria Hafif, Da Vinci, Shakespeare and many more.

Rock Out with your Paint Out! Paint an original rock t-shirt with your choice of rock motifs, lyrics and additional cool fonts. The option to stud or glam your tee will be available.
Susan is an artist and former musician who experiments with a variety of styles, mediums, and possibilities. Inspired by her love for music her current focus is rock-star portraits. She paints the greats and eternalizes their presence here on earth. She will be leading two classes; iconic portrait painting and painting original rock&roll tees.
