Michelle Graves

Michelle Graves is a Chicago based artist that combines scientific research and philosophy to generate artwork in a variety of mediums. Her two main bodies of work are non-linear gestural text paintings using stream-of-conscious words and artwork based around the union of an anatomical and 8-bit heart representing humanness in a technological world. Graves has been exhibiting her work nationally and internationally since 1997.
