Mark Banks

​Mark is a Chicago based painter working through a variety of stylistic approaches. A self-taught artist, he has worked with a variety of media over the years, and has enjoyed a certain degree of academic and developmental independent. His interest lies in the practical genealogy of art and in the interdisciplinary overlaps between art and philosophy, art and history, art and science, and so on.
